In a bid to promote road safety, the Delhi Police shared a fun video on social media on Saturday. In the next half of the clip, the Delhi Police share details of a challan slip, dated June 10, 2023. As per this slip, the woman driving the scooter, whose identity was concealed, was fined Rs 1,000 for driving without a helmet, alongside a fine of Rs 6,000 for driving without a license.

The Delhi Police captioned the video, "Going ‘Vaari Vaari Jaaun’ on the road for a REEL makes your safety a REAL WORRY! Please do not indulge in acts of BEWAKOOFIYAN! Drive safe."

The video has gathered over 59,000 views and hundreds of likes. Many people praised the Delhi Police for their innovative way of promoting road safety.

This is not the first time that the Delhi Police has used social media to promote road safety. In the past, they have shared videos of people being caught breaking traffic rules, as well as videos of accidents that have been caused by reckless driving.

The Delhi Police's efforts to promote road safety are commendable. However, it is important to note that road safety is a shared responsibility. Everyone who uses the road, including drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists, has a role to play in keeping everyone safe.

Here are some tips for road safety:

* Always wear a helmet when riding a two-wheeler.
* Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
* Obey all traffic rules.
* Be aware of your surroundings and be prepared to react to unexpected situations.
